Philanthropy Events

We host both a fall and spring philanthropy event that not only raises money for Service for Sight, but also helps us to give back to the wonderful community of Charleston. Every fall, our biggest Foundation event is held, which we called AnchorSlam this year. In the Spring of 2024, we held our first ever DG Market where various local businesses, some even apart of DG, sold various merchandise and sweet treats with a portion of their profits donated to the Foundation! We also have a variety of service opportunities throughout the year, such as volunteering at Kempton Senior Living.
